He was predeceased by : his parents, Rueben Vogel and Frances Vogel; his granddaughter Madelynn Vogel; his sister Marianne; his brother-in-law Gordon Peters; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Don Holverson; and his brothers, Jim and Tony Vogel.

He is survived by : his wife Marliese Vogel; his children, Stephanie Mulleady (Mike), Karlene Giese (Craig) and Greg Vogel (Katy); his grandchildren, Jason Higgins (Kayla), Dr. Kristi Gwidt (Brandon), Clayton Giese, Calvin Giese, Meridyth Vogel and Mason Vogel; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Connor Gwidt and Brynnlee Higgins; and his sister-in-law Joyce Vogel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required at both the funeral home and church.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be directed to the SPASH Scholarship Fund.
