He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hamann and Amanda Hamann (Gutknecht); his wife Gladys Lydia Lorenz; his parents-in-law, Herman and Lydia Lorenz; his aunt Anita Anger (Ray); his stepfather-in-law Fred Wiegel; his sister Marilyn Hanke (Elroy); his niece Cheryl; and his brothers-in-law, Herman Jr. Lorenz, Walter Lorenz (Marion), Alfred Lorenz (Marie), Donald Lorenz, Harold Lorenz and Robert Lorenz (Marlene).
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Kieffer (James) of Sheboygan; his grandson David of Sheboygan Falls; and his cousin Jerry Anger (Carla). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Salem Plankroad United Church of Christ in memory of Charles.
