He was predeceased by: his brother Michael L Curtiss; his aunt Margie Bars; his uncles, Phillip Baumann and Roger Curtiss; and his parents-in-law, Oscar and Elda Veldboom.

He is survived by: his parents, Lee Curtiss and Mary Lou Curtiss (Baumann) of Cascade; his wife Janice M Curtiss of Plymouth; his children, Michael Curtiss (Renee) of Kiel, Dayvin Curtiss (Jonell) of Waldo and Katherine Hansen (Spencer) of Kiel; his siblings, Janelle Holdbrook (Keith) of Tacoma, WA, Joel Curtiss (Viktoria) of Sheboygan and Gregory Curtiss (Robert Glasheen) of Menasha; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Veldboom (Donna) of Gibbsville, Linda Wieck (DuWayne) of Plymouth and David Veldboom of Cedar Grove. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Scott's Name.
