With solemn reverence, we commemorate Audrey Marie Hakkila of Poplar, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on November 16, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Bloom and Hilda Bloom (Saari); her former husband Iver Edquist; her husband Ray Hakkila; her daughter Jeanne M. Falk; and her grandchildren, Dennis Ahola, Aaron Falk and Cindy Parks.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Peer (Bob), Diane Davies, Laurel LeSage (Mark), Cathy Carlos (Jack) and Eddy Edquist (Sue); and her sisters, Bernice Erickson and Marlene Johnson. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed volunteering for the Rural Share & Care Food Shelf, ARCDC, RSVP program, the Amnicon Senior Center and its meal program and several other organizations.
Memorials may be directed to the Old Brule Heritage Society or Peace Lutheran Church.
