Norman Silvester Obituary
We announce the death of Norman Silvester (Port Edwards, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Norman will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Norman will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Norman will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Norman’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Silvester and Helen Silvester; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Sprecher; his sons, David (Michele) of St Paul, MN and Jim (Betty) of Kenosha; and his brother Harold (Marilyn) of Sun Prairie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be designated to Wisconsin Conference United Methodist Camps or Port Edwards United Methodist Church to be used for mission purposes.
