In loving memory of Detlef Asmussen Jr. (Port Washington, Wisconsin), who departed this world on July 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Detlef leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Detlef shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Detlef farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Detlef Asmussen and Lucia Asmussen Sr.; his wife Lucille Frenz; and his sister Delores. He is survived by: his daughter Pam Enstrom (Michael). He is also survived by nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (217 N Freeman Dr, Port Washington, WI 53074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Memorial Park (5402 N 91st St, Milwaukee, WI 53225).
