He is survived by: his wife Ann Royko; his children, Peter Silva (Judy), Jamie Van Dyck (John), Jennifer Walsh (Christopher), Michael Mariani, Christopher Mariani (Carol), Sherri Franzman (Marc), Alexandra Stark (Michael) and Catherine Royko (TJ Kupetz); his grandchildren, Mahea, Natalie, Owen, Liam, Samantha, Siena, Olivia, Bianca, Amelia, Ella, Luca, Kylie and William; his brothers, Vern Silva (Terry) and Gene Silva (Yvonne); and his sister-in-law Barbara Carroll. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
