He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Mitchell (Donnelly) and Harley Mitchell; and his granddaughter Haley Stevelt-Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Beatriz Somoza; his children, Adrian Mitchell (Andrea), Chad Mitchell (Kristy), Melissa Marshall (John) and Arielle Mitchell-Somoza; his grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Dylan, Blake, Kylee and Connor; his siblings, James Mitchell (Linda), Sharon Thompson, Thomas Mitchell, William Mitchell (Nancy) and Patricia Meade (John); and his in-laws, Luis Somoza (Monica) and Cristina Somoza. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
