James H. Moan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Moan of Portage, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James H. Moan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva M. Rogers and Ingvald M. Moan; his son-in-law John Freidel; his granddaughter Kayla Johnson; and his siblings, Hazel, Annabelle, Karen, Ingvald, Ellen, Thomas, Marian, Helen, Irvin and John.
He is survived by: his wife Nyla V. Niblo; his children, Vicky Freidel (Joe), Mark Moan (Deb), Todd Moan and Rhonda Johnson; his grandchildren, Josh Freidel (Jenny), Digger Cole (Josh), Heather Fischer (Adam), Jason Moan (Ashley), Mandy Sitzman (Ben), Brittney Quam (Calvin), Jacob Johnson, Ryan Freidel, Jordan Moan, Coltyn Johnson (Courtney) and Sommer Moan; his great grandchildren, John Freidel, Taylor Freidel, Madilynn Cole, Masin McKenna, Brittyn Sitzman, Grayson Cole, Landen Treumer, Cameron Treumer, Haylee Sitzman, Jett Johnson, Aspen Moan, Evelyn Sitzman, Gunner Sitzman, Oaklen Moan, Palmer Fischer, Layklin Fischer and Dalton Quam; his siblings, Fred Moan and Sarah Dutra; and his close friend Stella. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home (430 W Wisconsin St, Portage, WI 53901).
