She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton P. Pogatetz and Johanna F. Pogatetz (Kriplean); her husband Frank G. Lapacek; her granddaughter Carlene Lapacek; and her sisters, Janet and Dorothy Jane.
She is survived by: her sons, David Lapacek (Peggy), Frank Lapacek (Diane), Bob Lapacek (Jill) and Denver Lapacek (Ofelia); her grandchildren, Shaun Lapacek (Maria), Kimberly Wallander (Lee), Kate Lapacek, Jared Lapacek (Kim), Kassie Hefty (Shawn), Karma Peters (Matt), Carly Arias (Victor) and Denver Lapacek II; her great grandchildren, Kamryn, Cedi, Payton, Capri, Brody, Pip, Nadia, Hannah, Charlie, Kathryn, George and Enzo; and her siblings, Marlene Hartman and James Pogatetz. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (655 S Main St, Poynette, WI 53955). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
