He is survived by: his significant other Joan; his brother Bob; his close friend Joan; his siblings, Carl Jr., Joanie Telscher, Sally Spechtenhauser and Barbara Calease; his brothers-in-law, Bill Telscher, Jack Spechtenhauser, Lyle Calease and Henry Breitsprecker; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Marie Broesch; his daughter-in-law Kelly Finzel; his granddaughter Mandi-Jo; his daughter Robin Bublitz; his granddaughter Trisha (Ben); his great grandchild Carter Magargee; his grandson Cody Simonson; his sons, Nick and Brady Scaffidi; his grandchildren, Gunnar and Cooper Roberts; his sons, Kevin Finzel, Kenny and Kaden (Jon Finzel); his sisters, Monica (Steve Lukritz), Christine Breitsprecker, Anita (Joe Bruckner), Jill (Duey Duetmeyer), Julie (Ron Schlader) and Michelle Finzel; his in-laws, Nancy Finzel, Diana Stenson and Geno Broesch; his friend Jared Simonson; his daughter Bobbi Jo (Matt); his caregiver Eric; and also Jim Simonson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Portage VFW Hall (215 W Collins St, Portage, WI 53901). The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
