With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Stoltz of Portage, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Holden and Madeline Holden (Goodwin); her husband Jack Stoltz; and her siblings, Lutrell "Pinky", Walter, Eudell "Junior", Alvy, Raymond, Thomas, Jack, Russel, Jesse "Joe", Lyle and Rodger.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Vaught (Tom) and Stacy Horsfall (Kim); her granddaughters, Emma and Piper Vaught; her stepgranddaughter Hayleigh Ackley (Tyrique Dampier); her siblings, Marcella, Doris, Caroline, Karen, Rosemary, Linda and Donald; her extended family Emily Bates; her pet Bingo; and her caregivers, Daelen, Melonie, Tiki, Dr. LoConte, Visiting Angels and Ruthie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home of Montello (453 E Park St, Montello, WI 53949). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
