He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Jacobs and Margaret Jacobs (VanWormer); his wife Sandra Stearns; and his brothers, Phillip and John Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Jacobs (Judy) and Dawn Nelson (Michael); his grandchildren, Jacob Nelson, Sydney Jacobs, Riley Nelson, Logan Jacobs, Jack Nelson (Shelby) and Hilary Nelson (Konnor Smith); his great grandchild Baker Thomas Nelson; his sisters, Mary Parkovich (Kent) and Kathleen Barth (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Loris Jacobs and Karen Jacobs. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
