Virgil Dale Chance Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stong Chance and Nellie Madeline Chance (Lord); his children, Jimmy Dale Chance, Marilyn Sue Jahn and Joseph Stong Chance II; his granddaughters, Whitney Rae Jahn and Stephanie Ruth Jahn; his siblings, Donald A. Chance and Terrie Jo Byfield (Chance); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas L. Abbott, Max A. Abbott, Ambrosio Altamirano, Daniel Tidwell and Donna Abbott Tidwell.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Rae Chance (Abbott); his daughter Linda Klosiewski (Larry) of South Milwaukee; his children-in-law, Shirley Chance of Portage and Kenneth Jahn of Portage; his siblings-in-law, Betty Chance of Alva, Jane Abbott of Portage, Nancy Brown of Bristow, Lila Altamirano of Rillito, Arizona, Lewis Byfield of Fairview and Bob Abbott (Barbara) of Copperas Cove, Texas; his grandchildren, Kori Klosiewski, Michael, Tina Klosiewski, Zem Zander Chance, Becky Chance Schauf, Allyson Chance, Ben Gladwin, Joseph, Katie Jahn and Lindsey Jahn; his great grandchildren, Morgan Klosiewski (Leo Gormez), Quin Lenore Chance Hart, Neve Alexander, Luis Jimenez, Dylan, Kara Alexander and Autumn Schauf; his grandsons, Karl Klosiewski, Ryan Jahn, Joe Jahn, Nicholas Jahn, Jesse Jahn and Mike Klosiewski; his great grandchild Trystan Jahn; and his nephew Tad Abbott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portage or to the Gideons International.
