William Hilgendorf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hilgendorf of Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hilgendorf and Helen Hilgendorf Sr. (Crawford); his wife Kathleen Moran; his daughter Jill Oehlhof; and his grandson Michael Denman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Denman (Rick) and Susan Achterberg (Dean); his grandchildren, Nick Oehlhof, Matthew Denman, Noelle Thom (Evan), Megan Denman, Alli Achterberg and Morgan Cacic (Brian); his granddaughter-in-law Kelly Denman; his great grandchildren, Ezra, Gabe, Walter, Elise, Natalie, Nathan, Avery and Brewer; his siblings, Herbert Hilgendorf Jr., Dorothy Hansen and Paul Hilgendorf (Dorothy); his sister-in-law Delores Hilgendorf; his siblings, Helen Hilgendorf, Marie Mullenbach (John), Tom Hilgendorf and Margaret Hilgendorf; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Hilgendorf, Tykie Simonson (Tom) and Emmy Raimer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (309 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations will be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
