He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schumann and Gladys Schumann (Seldahl); his grandparents, Herman and Myrtle Schumann; his brothers, Paul Schumann and Lance Felly; his cousin Shirley Meier; his brothers-in-law, John F Stuchlik (Dianne) and Joseph P. Stuchlik; and his aunt Viola Schumann.
He is survived by: his wife Winnie Schumann; his sons, James Schumann (Anita) and Michael Schumann; his grandchild Thomas Schumann; his brothers, Robert Walker (Walda), James Schumann and Donald Schumann; his children, Pam Bednarek (Chris), Craig Holmes (Kate), Cheryl Kurth (Jeff) and Keith Holmes (Tammy); his cousins, Randy Schumann (Di) and Terry Schumann; his siblings-in-law, James Stuchlik, Paul Stuchlik (Colleen), Craig Stuchlik (Mary Ann) and Connie Dolajeck; his nephew Dean Schumann (Christine); and his niece Joy Baker (James). He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and many other relatives by marriage, and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Saddle Ridge Golf Course (100 Saddle Ridge W, Portage, WI 53901).
