Marita M. Schultz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marita M. Schultz of Potosi, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marita M. Schultz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Droessler and Louise Droessler (Helbing); her husband John Soards; and her siblings, Rosie Vaassen (Laverne), Darlene Lange (Bob), Jeanette Scott, John Droessler, Joe Droessler and Barney Droessler.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Schultz (Nancy) of Anchorage, AK, Mick Schultz (Karen) of Grand Mound, IA, Roger Schultz (Rhonda) of Cary, IL, Kathy Bartels (Tim) of Potosi, WI, Joe Schultz (Heather) of Milwaukee, WI, Cary Schultz (Carrie) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Paul Schultz (Monica) of Twin Lakes, WI and Roy Soards (Laurel) of Portland, OR; her brother Dennis Droessler (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Droessler and Dave Scott. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saints Andrew and Thomas Parish (101 Church St, Potosi, WI 53820). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Cemetery (101 Church St, Potosi, WI 53820).
