He is survived by: his wife Tricia Mergen-Nelson; his stepson Alex Friederick of Potosi, WI.; his sister Jennifer Bartle-Koch (Tim); his nephew Aaron Koch of Slinger, WI.; his godson Bobby White; and his close friend Kyle Brunkow.
