With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Rae Groff of Poynette, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Rae Groff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Bailey and Betty Bailey (Day); her husbands, Bruce Penland and Richard Groff; and her siblings, Mike Bailey, Kathy Hansen and Sue Koberle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Breunig (Melvin) and Vicki Doherty (Sean); her sister Patricia Bitter; her grandchildren, Scott Doherty (Jennifer), Brittany McCormick (Dominick), Trevor Doherty (April), Ryan Breunig, Layne Doherty (Abby) and Shane Doherty; and her brother-in-law Ron Koberle. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home (426 E Washington St, Poynette, WI 53955). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
