It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darin C. Fortier of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Darin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Darin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his pet Precious. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Arkansas), Larry (Kimberly) of Holmen and Randy of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; his uncle Marlin Cook (Margaret) of Tampa, Florida; and his aunt Judy Jarnig (Cook) of Green Bay, Wisconsin.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He attended school in Garnavillo, Iowa, where he created lifelong friendships that carried over into his time at the Opportunity Center, where he worked proudly until Alzheimer's disease made it no longer possible.
