He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Niles "Buck" Day and Norma Day (Gentes); his children, Ryan Day (Crystal Day), Amanda Day (Jason Syverud), Barbie Kossman (Adam Kossman) and Brooke Day (Eli Solow); his grandchildren, Austin, Lilly, DaVante, Tuck, Dex, Cruz, Russell, Rafe, Henry, Forest and Baby Girl Day; his great grandchild James Michael; his sisters, Barb "Sabu" Yager and Diane "Sach" Day; his brother-in-law Del Boardman; the mother of his children Kay Day; his sister Laraine; his brother-in-law Roy; and his brother Mike. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws; lifelong childhood friends.
