It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Skaife of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Balk. He is survived by: his wife Coleen Balk; his children, Ryan Skaife and Traci Konichek (Chuck); his siblings, Robert Skaife (Laurine), Sherry Skaife and Sheila Bishell (Charles); and his grandchildren, Halle, Jake Skaife, Gavin and Corina Konichek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the National Wild Turkey Federation or Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter in Prairie du Chein.
