Richard Tesar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Tesar of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tesar and Evelyn Tesar (Tuckwood); his son Kevin Richard Tesar; and his siblings, Roger Tesar and Jo Ann Kehoe.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Cathman; his sons, Dave (Steph), Doug (Cheryl), Dan (Shelley) and Darren Tesar (Wen-Li); and his siblings, Doris Fuller (Ed), Barb Groom (Rick), Mike Tesar (Lynn) and Judy Becwar (Phil). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Of the Holy Family Parish (506 N Beaumont Rd, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025.
