He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bushnell and Frances Bushnell (Millin); and his wife Theresa Moris of John's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his children, Tamara Otteson (Mark), Becky Walters (Robin), Randy Bushnell (Jane), Janet Vedvik (Randy), Brian Bushnell (Liz) and Elizabeth Bremmer (Rob); his sister Charlene Osterhaus (Paul "Lefty"); and his siblings-in-law, Susie Boldt, Gerald "Toby" Moris (Scherrie) and Larry Moris (Judy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel (704 S Ohio St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Prairie Maison or the Eagles Club, both in Prairie du Chien.
