With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Harris of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Waraxa and Mary Waraxa (Whittbrod); and her husband William Harris. She is survived by: her children, Pat, Richard, Gary Harris (Judy) and Christine Gavin (Larry); and her siblings, Victor, Robert Waraxa and Agnes Fingland. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
