She was predeceased by: her parents, John Timmers and Josephine Timmers (Kempen); her husband Herbert Malitz; her daughter Mary Josephine Newbolds; and her brothers, John (Barbara) and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, Herbert Malitz, Jr. (Lisa), Connie Koeberl and Linda Fain; her sister Mary Schwartz (Ralph); and her sister-in-law Anne. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Elaine's honor can be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Catawba, WI.
