She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Metcalf and Jessie Metcalf (Hall); and her siblings, Max Metcalf, Mary Bisch, Bill Metcalf, Blanche Metcalf, Bob Metcalf and Judy Steinhaus.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Soda of Princeton; her children, Cheryl Nickel (David), Kathryn Memenga (Donald), Steven Soda, Kevin Soda (Mary) and Jessica Zodrow (Richard); her grandchildren, Michael Giese, David, Sarah Memenga, Sawyer (Sammie), Jedd, Jack, Addie, Billy Soda, Max, Sam, Nellie, Molly Soda and Tyler Zodrow; her great grandchild Kaysen Soda; her brother Vincent Metcalf; and her siblings-in-law, Jon Steinhaus, Diane Metcalf and Claire DeNell. She is also survived by other relatives and many special friends.
