She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Durben and Mary Ecker Durben; her husband Norbert J. Peplinski; her son Tom; her sisters, Bernice Olk and Bernadette Bittner; her sons-in-law, John Harkness and Bill Poole; and her niece Betsy Borchart.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Harkness, Steve Peplinski (Polly), Ruth Poole, Chuck Peplinski (Cynthia) and Will Peplinski (Peter Wong); her grandchildren, Jill Diamond (Richard), Katie Coffin (Irving), Geoff Poole (Katie), Jeremy and Joseph Peplinski; and her great grandchildren, Lila, Hailey, Samantha and Max. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations in honor of Dorothy may be made to the Pulaski Education Foundation or the Pulaski Area Historical Society.
