We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Doyle Dean Prentice of Pulaski, Wisconsin, born in Durant, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Prentice; his parents, Jack Prentice and Molly Prentice (Embrey); his son-in-law Daniel Gazella; and his siblings, Billy Prentice, Mary Lee Rowland, Jaunita Nix, G. W. Prentice, Walace Prentice, Wendell Prentice, Luetta Nelson and Paula Engle.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Prentice (Pirkov); his children, Douglas Prentice (Linda), Jeffrey Prentice (Gail Sabotta), Linda Gazella, Cheryn Prentice-Holstead (Daniel), Bradley Prentice (Lynne) and Gregory Prentice; and his siblings, Alice Guillott (John) and Aubrey Prentice (Becky). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Maximilian Kolbe Parish Church (6051 Noble St, Sobieski, WI 54171). A Mass was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
His contributions to the railroad industry were equally notable, having worked as a car distributor and telegrapher for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad in Green Bay and a Supervisor for Union Pacific in Little Rock, AR.
