He was predeceased by: his parents, Paulus Winter and Marcella Winter (Bohm); his wife Janice Schumacher; his brother Ken Winter (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Donna VanRossum (Dale).
He is survived by: his children, LeeAnn Przybylski (Dennis), Linda Prentice (Douglas), Laurie Zierden (Dan), Jim Jr. Winter (Michelle), Timothy Winter, Terrance Winter (Connie), Kevin Winter (Tracy) and Daniel Winter (June); his grandchildren, Brent Nowak, Eric Przybylski (Felicia), Amanda Przybylski (Corey), Alicia Ericson, Douglas Prentice (Theresa), Lucas Prentice (Jessica), Nicole Bystol (Grant), Jason "Buddy" Prokash (Caleena), Nathan Winter (Abigail), Melissa Winter, Erica Naparalla (Bradley), Kandra Winter, Jeremy Winter, Gerald Winter, Mariah Peterson (Evan), Heaven Winter (Hunter), Brittney Winter (Wesley) and Dalton Winter; and his brothers, Dennis Winter (Sharon), Don Winter (Peggy) and Mark Winter (Annette). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
