He was predeceased by : his mother Sharon M. Faulkner (Payne Kepner); his siblings, Randal Dunsmoor and Virginia Kepner; his pet Ivan; and also Hadley Faulkner.

He is survived by : his father Glen W. Kepner; his father-in-law Karl Bongers; his stepmother Susan Kepner (Stram); and his siblings, Marcia Dunsmoor, Peter Dunsmoor (Suzanne), Rasco Dunsmoor (Jason Homa), Janet (Joseph Yskes), Patricia (David Basso), Linda Kepner, Samanatha Kepner-Rowan (Heather Richardson-Rowan), Joy (Randy Boehme), Sarah Young (Kepner) and Elizabeth (Chad Pierce). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
