He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Grace Preuss; his children, Bonnie Christensen (Jeff), Nancy Preuss, Mary Preuss and Art Preuss (Denise); his grandchildren, Julie Langebartels (John), Kevin Christensen (Holly), Ashley Spencer (Talon Myers) and Matthew Preuss (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Jacob, Hannah, Leah, Ryan, Aiden, Zachary, Madison and Connor; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fiedler, Mary Preuss, Ardis Koeller and Doreen Wunsch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or Racine Lutheran High School have been suggested.
