She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel and Louise; her husband Donald C. Bednar; her siblings, Nancy Saavedra (Mike) and Samuel Brisko Jr.; her goddaughter Barbara Suiter; and her friend Kaye Mann.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherrie Collins (William Wishau); her grandson Patrick Collins; her godsons, Anthony Suiter, Kevin Mann and Keith Mann; her in-laws, Jeaneen Brisko and Selma Bednar; her nephew Randy Saavedra (Cindy); her friends, Jerry and Dorothy Mann; and her pet Bubba. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the CDT Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home (803 Main St, Racine, WI 53403). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
