She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Fako and Vivian Fako (Schima). She is survived by: her husband John Walter Nowak; her children, Peter Nowak, Karen Larson (Eric), Ellen Nowak and Julie Mikula (Mike); her grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Olivia, Madeline and Gabriel; her great grandchildren, Kynzlee, Emberlee, Hadlee and Cayson; and her sister Dorothy Russell of Richmond. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2201 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI 53404). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Safe Haven of Racine or the Alzheimer's Association.
