She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schmidling and Nina Schmidling; her husband Robert Spoden; her children, Richard Nowak and Debbe Nowak; and her brother Robert Schmidling.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathie Barlow; her grandchildren, Chris (Sarah), Jamie Barlow (Traci) and Laurie Wattelet; her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Cameron, Kenzie, Tyler, Layton and Candace; her great great grandchildren, Addison, Ellie, Alex and Ellis; and her sister Doris Klawitter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
