He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Savaglia and Anna Savaglia (Ulceck); and his wife Judy Savaglia. He is survived by: his children, Greg Savaglia (Sherri), Lori Herrmann (Darryl), Mike Savaglia (Heather), Ken Savaglia (Bridget), Anne James (Jesse), Patty Savaglia, John Savaglia and Tom Savaglia; his stepchildren, Todd Bichsel, Rick Bichsel and Heidi Bichsel; his brother John Savaglia (Sandy); and his nieces and nephews, David Savaglia (Karen) and Lynn Halase (Joe). He is also survived by many grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
