It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl August Schmidt (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Lomira, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Bernice; his sister Sharon Schmidt; and his father-in-law Ted Mihelich. He is survived by: his wife Terri Mihelich; his son Scott Schmidt (Kim) of Moundville, AL; his granddaughter Jessica Nelson (Alex); his great grandchildren, Emersyn and Lincoln; his grandchildren, Shelby Schmidt (Savanna) and Jonathon (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Caroline, Lucy and Davina; his siblings, Gayle Braun (Robert) of Hancock, WI, Glenn Schmidt (Donna) and Mary Jo Schustedt (Robert) of Monument, CO; his mother-in-law Judith Mihelich of Racine, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Mihelich of Austin, TX and Sandra Coppage (Tim) of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
