He is survived by: his wife Lorie; his children, Jon Stapleman (Tracy), Tracey Exner (Jeff) and Scott Stapleman (Kari); his granddaughters, Sarah Abner (Andrew) and Kayla Luna (Fernando); his sons, Daniel (Lydalis), Michael (Delaney Jensen) and David Stapleman; his great grandchild Matthew Abner; his grandchildren, Eliana, Jeremiah Luna, Anastacia and Melody Stapleman; his sister Susan Milne; and his sisters-in-law, Verda Trout and Marilyn Anspaugh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
