She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Watkins and Pacita Watkins; her son Jason Chestnut; her brothers, Michael Watkins and Warren Watkins; and her former husband Leroy Chestnut.
She is survived by: her brothers, Mark Watkins and Harlan Watkins; and her close friends, Diane Johnson, Milwaukee, Jeannie and Beth.
She had many careers in her lifetime from Registered Nurse, owning her own beauty shop, to working with the Alzheimer's Association.
