He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wright and Madeline Wright; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Josephine Schmitt; his siblings, Meredith Brill (Don) and Verne Wright; his brothers-in-law, Frank Berger and John Schmitt; his former wife Christine Wright; and his pets, Tober and Fifi.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne; his daughters, Lisa Carbajal (Jason), Jennie Cramsie (Tom) and Michelle Strobel (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Athene Pepino (Erica), Madeline Duchac, Lourdes Carbajal, Marcus Strobel, Mason Strobel and Malachi Strobel; his sister Nancy Berger; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lueke (Chuck), Dr. Denise Janosik, Barb Hickey (Pete), Jane Nielsen (Dave), Bob Schmitt (Calli), Tom Schmitt and Valerie Wright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home (803 Main St, Racine, WI 53403). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to HALO, the Health Care Network, or a favorite charity have been suggested by the family.
