He is survived by: his wife Judi; his children, Heidi (Tony), Tim (Katie), Jenny (Cody) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Rosalie, Lily, Charlie, Malachi, Jack and Walter; and his siblings, Anne Pitterle (Peter), Joan Sills (Tom) and Paul Backes (Linda).
