He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton S. and Elsie E.; his daughter Angela Joy Halverson; and his sister Susan Mann. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Leayn Tabili (Paul) of Racine and Debra Boedecker (Charles) of Racine; his grandchildren, Bailey Shantry, Maxwell Shantry and James Boedecker; and his siblings, Bruce Halverson (Roberta) of Burnsville, MN and Jennifer Rhode (Bruce) of Farmington, MN. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be directed to local charities.
