He is survived by: his wife Diane Schafer; his brothers, John Schafer (Carole) and William "Bill" Schafer (Donna); his children, Scot Schafer (Karly), Tracy Bisterfeldt and Ryan Schafer (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Greta, Violet, Deacon, Harper, Emma, August, Addison, Samuel, Owen and Sally.
