He is survived by: his children, James Lipsey, Melissa Higginbottom and Oscar Higginbottom Jr.; and his siblings, Helen, Ora, Lucy and Robert (Cynthia Bowen). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
