Dolores M. Gibson- Kunka Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores M. Gibson- Kunka (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence and Frances; her former husband John "Jack" R. Gibson; her siblings, Richard, Lawrence, Robert, Clarence "Junior", Eugene and Marjorie Johnson; her son-in-law James Martin; and her great grandchild Penelope Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Bernie; her children, Kathleen Martin, John Gibson Jr., James Gibson (Carol) and Rebecca Christensen (Kevin); her grandchildren, Matthew Martin (Karie), Patrick Martin (Michelle), Rachael Gibson, Sam Christensen and Sara Sebald (Luke); her great grandchildren, Kaden Nygren, Ella Martin Levi and Louis Sebald; her siblings, Shirley Heck, Mary Kay Hansen (David) and Donna Benedict; her sisters-in-law, Cel Heck, Lorraine Heck and Mary Heck; her daughter Ellen Panozzo (Mike); her grandchildren, Kate Simonds (Chris) and James Kunka (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Nathan and Rhiannon Kunka; and also, Bill Kunka, Mike Kunka and Jim Kunka (Denise Schoening). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested.
