It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Petersen (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Cudahy, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Martha; her daughter-in-law Ann Petersen; her grandson Mark Petersen; her siblings, Gilbert Jaworski, Rosemary Endvick (William), Gerald Jaworski (Mary) and Donald Jaworski; and her brother-in-law Richard Deptula.
She is survived by: her husband Nels B. Petersen; her children, Karen Hutcheson (Cecil) of Colorado Springs, CO, Anthony Petersen of Racine, James Petersen (Sally) of Racine, Judith Menningen (Scott) of Fairview Park, Andrew Petersen (Gina) of Appleton, WI, Neil Petersen (Jane) of Racine, David Petersen of Fenton, MO and Nancy Froggatt (Justin) of Milwaukee; her sisters, Sandra Deptula of Hernando, MS and Rose Staniak of Milwaukee; and her sister-in-law Carole Jaworski of Mukwonago. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. Memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church have been suggested by the family.
