Ellsworth Wayne Steinbach Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellsworth Wayne Steinbach (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Steinbach and Anna Steinbach; and his sister Karen Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Margret Steinbach; his children, Michael Steinbach (Becky), Heidi Contreras (Bob) and Monica Bednar (Edward); his grandchildren, Nicholas Contreras (Rachael), Amy Upchurch (John), Sara Kaczkowski (Kevin), Dan Bednar (Michelle), David Bednar (Kayla) and Sean Steinbach (Alexandra Lutkus); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Max, Alex, Johanna, Liam, Avery, Leah, Edward and Elizabeth; and his brothers, Alston, Ronald and Arden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Ellsworth.
