He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Joan; and his siblings, John, Lenny and Terri.
He is survived by: his son Kyle Peterson; his sister Heather Schroeder (Michael); his niece Shanah Peterson-Boye; his great-nieces, Zola Peterson, Natharia and Charlize Boye; and his pets, Zippy and Brutus. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
