He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Peklo and Ester A. Peklo; his wife Elaine E. Wagner; and his sister Marie Meyers. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Swenson (Fred), Sheryl Estep (Gary) and Jennifer Carder (Robert); his grandsons, Gregory Goetsch, Nicholas Estep (Kati) and James Parkhill (Brielle); his great grandchildren, Elliot, Everett and Claire; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Kosterman. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
