He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Verwey and Jean A. Verwey; and his daughter Shannon Lee Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Kimberlee Nicole Banks; his siblings, Mike (Sandi), Sue Spielman, Jeanne, Ray (Traci), Jim and Mark (Sue); and his grandsons, Baylor, Mac, George Bennett and Ryan Banks. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Racine Assembly of God Church (1325 Airline Rd, Mt Pleasant, WI 53406). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Once profitable, donations will be made to support medical research for diseases that currently have no known cause and no known treatment or cure.
